Shortly after migrating to Australia from Toronto in 2006, Eduardo Calucag put his love for fashion, creative talent and commitment to quality design to work and created his self-titled label which was launched during the Motorola Melbourne Spring Fashion Week in 2007. Since then, the label has consistently grown in popularity and has evolved whilst maintaining a common objective, to inspire women to be more daring and confident and to look effortlessly striking. The urban romanticism movement, pairing elegance with the practical, is the underlying theme in each of his seasonal collections.

Eduardo's Spring Summer 2009/10 collection was designed to be highly sophisticated and fashion forward yet wearable. Bright, light weight fabrics such as silks and cottons are tucked, layered, ruffled and ruched to give a harmonious fusion of subtle elegance and casual sensibility. The bright hues of the collection including ember and chartreuse are matched with neutral and black single-toned base fabrics. Bold floral printed silk georgette is incorporated to complement the classic polka dotted and pin-stripe fabrics.

The ethos of the Eduardo Calucag label is simple – to consistently design highly sophisticated and fashion-forward garments to flatter the female form. This is achieved through the use of premium quality versatile fabrics, flawless garment construction and elegant silhouettes.
