Rosemount
Australian Fashion Week
Five days of frenzied fashion showcasing some
(and some not so) original and inspiring collections. Anticipated
to be a highly commercial offering from designers, there were
some stand-outs who pushed the boundaries. The good was Dion Lee
for everything he sent down the car-park runway and Ant!podium
for using real people as models including transvestites. The bad
was blatant copying (they will say referencing) of French fashion
house Balmain in so many collections. The ugly was the black-out,
goodie bag stealers and front row celebs wearing head to toe international
labels.... it was after all AUSTRALIAN Fashion Week. Click below

labels|Inspired
By
The splendour of summer, the allure of island
escapades and the rhythm of a sleepless city inspires a collection
effused with ultra femininity and spiced with a glimmer of glamour.
Island Romance is the debut range from Inspired By and paints
a sensible balance of realistic street wear with poolside chic
that echoes cool individuality. Romantic silhouettes draped with
large bows, ruffles and delicate rosettes create a seductive mix
of effortlessly chic and stylish pieces. Be inspired by flowing
gypsy dresses in flower prints and floaty poolside dresses in
aquamarine & latte mixed with zippered military-cargo looks
in hues of khaki, melon & nude. Contact Faith Agugu at Raw
Fashion for further details including stockists.
