After graduating from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 2002, designer Bill Chen established Meet Tyrone to deliver his graphic art to a larger audience in new and interesting ways. Meet Tyrone’s 08/09 collection features two themes "Murder Mystery" and "Back To The Future". Inspired by some of the most captivating horror films, Murder Mystery includes four major prints; the smoking pipe, the crows, moon skull and night watcher. The designs are symbolic of the fight between good and evil. Back to the Future is inspired by time travel and the fascination with the parallel universe. The range is an assortment of comfortable and light pieces for both men and women. Visit Meet Tyrone and check out the fashion of the future that is still the same and yet refreshingly different. You can also purchase Meet Tyrone goods at the Young Blood Designers Market at the Powerhouse Museum, Thursday 14 August to Sunday 17th August.

Fresh from exhibiting at Australian Fashion Week, Cicada Symphony continues to produce exclusive, handcrafted jewellery featuring lampworked glass bead necklaces with semi precious gemstones and spectacularly colourful dichroic glass neckpieces. Designer, Leslie Hunter, is inspired by the drama of glass. Her work is influenced by extensive early travels through Asia and Europe and it is through glass that Leslie channels a natural eye for design and colour, capturing those influences in a luxurious and tactile form. Lampwork and kiln fire on numerous types of glass as well as Dichroic (a multi layer coating of metal oxides placed on glass by using a highly technical vacuum deposition process) creates a dramatic reaction to firing and produces wonderfully spectacular colours. Visit Cicada Symphony for further details.
